A vertically integrated developer and builder turning raw ground into communities of enduring value — with strategy, design, development, and construction under one roof.
The connection
Lync isn't just a builder or a developer. We're the connector between —
About us
Lync Construction & Development was founded in 2015 as a vertically integrated land and building company. We handle acquisition, entitlement, infrastructure, and vertical construction in-house — the same team that finds the ground plans the neighborhood, builds the roads, and constructs the homes.
We believe real estate is more than property — it's connection. From raw farmland to thriving communities, we bring strategy, design, development, and execution together under one vision, turning land into places people are proud to live, work, and invest in.
Today Lync develops finished lots for our own communities and for national homebuilders, with more demand than inventory — and every project run by the systems and playbooks we've refined over thirty years.
How we work
Developer and builder in one — no finger-pointing between the people who plan the lot and the people who build on it.
A straightforward approach and relentless attention to detail have consistently delivered projects as promised.
Durable partnerships with landowners, cities, builders, and buyers — earned one project at a time.
The Lync personality
Meet the founder

Founder & Owner
Licensed General Contractor with 30+ years turning raw land into finished communities.
Pat started at 19 with a hammer in his hand, framing houses — and within months was running his own crews. The trade carried him from Tennessee to Utah in 1998, where he took on his first ground-up construction and his first land development the same year: a six-lot parcel he reworked into 22 doors and developed personally, running the backhoe, laying the sewer and water, and building the homes.
Between 2000 and 2008 he bought and sold more than 250 homes across Utah, Arizona, and Colorado. When the 2008 crash took it all — 467 lots and two banks seized in a single week — he went back to framing and rebuilt from the ground up. By 2015 he was all-in on development again, building the land platform that became Lync.
Pat is known for closing the deals nobody else can — partnering with farmers, landowners, and cities to bring new communities to life. He's been married 19 years, has four children, and spends summers riding horses and four-wheelers with his family on their Idaho ranch.
“I'd rather have 50% of a watermelon than 100% of a grape. I can own more by giving more.”Pat Burns
